Celebrating Easter our Way

So each family celebrates Easter in their own way... our way involved a ladder and many miscellaneous items! Jared and Heather were assigned the task of coming up with a fun creative interactive activity that both adults and children would enjoy. Their solution... THE EGG DROP! It was a huge hit. The kids picked adults to help them, and each team was given identical items. The challenge ... to package your egg well enough that it would survive the drop from the top of the ladder.
As you can imagine this is how most of the eggs looked after the fall!
The 2 teams that had success both had the same last name; you guessed it--- BATEMAN!

The Bateman kids were proud to have such "SMART" parents!

No Easter is complete without an egg hunt. These kids were really spoiled, there was oodles of goodies spread around grandma's yard. Here is the gang of cousins waiting for the egg hunt to begin.

Morgan and her loot!

Hayden saying "Oh Yeah, I just found a dollar in my egg!"

Reagan checking out her stash!

Cousins enjoying time together

Easter Morning

This year for Easter we spent time in Arizona with my family. It had been such a long time since we had gotten to celebrate Easter in Arizona. It was so much fun. There is nothing quite like the feeling of coming home! My mom always continues to amaze me, she devotes mega amounts of time, energy, and money to her family parties...as always...it was FABULOUS!!
