A new calling
I've decided that Heavenly Father must really have a sense of humor. A member of the bishopric came over to talk to Tom and I on Saturday, they had a new calling for me. After some small talk, he dropped the bomb, "Ward Camp Director". I really was stunned, actually silent for a minute (that never happens). I kind of stammered and said that yes I would do it. For those of you that don't know me well, I am NOT a camper. My mom always says that she likes to camp at Embassy Suites. This has been a motto that I have also tried to live by. I have previously been the enrichment leader, when the member of the bishopric member saw me stammering he said, "It's just like a week long enrichment." Once he said that, I thought, he's right I can do a week long enrichment! I'm sure this will be a great experience and I will go with a good attitude (see, I am still talking myself into this). The thing that is GREAT about this calling is that I will spend the week at Girl's Camp with McKenzie (it's her last year).

You will be great at this calling and that is so fun that you will get to go to camp with Mckenzie for her last year! But it shouldn't be that bad, don't they have girls camp in cabins?
ok, knowing you that is hilarious!!! NEVER in a million years would I think that would have been your new calling! Let's pay Kenzie to take lots of pictures because this event may never again take place! You will need the proof! Too bad Tom doesn't get in on the adventure!
I'm sure it will be the best girls camp the girls have ever been to. I know you and you NEVER do anything half way, it will be a AMAZING girls camp.

You'll love girls camp! you are so creative! I was in YW's for awhile and I totally loved the girls! grantid we only have like 11 girls total! I hear ya on the calling thing though, they called me to be a relief society teacher Okay I suck! I hate teaching old ladies that have been there done that! but I guess it's more for us right? see I just say that to talk myself into it also!
